About Us
Māla Honey Botanicals from Honoka’a, Hawai'i
Māla Honey Botanicals creates 100% organic small batch honey and skincare products using raw Hawaiian ingredients, regenerative beekeeping, and zero plastic. Always rooted in honesty, sustainability, and purpose.
Every ingredient we use serves a purpose. Our electuaries are more than honey, they’re potent blends of vibrant raw botanicals designed to support mind and body.
In our skincare we combine our own raw Hawaiian honey and beeswax with powerful ingredients like turmeric, charcoal, and botanical oils to create products that protect, restore, and truly nourish your skin.
From compostable shipping materials and glass jars, every part of our packaging is chosen with intention. To protect the planet and leave no plastic behind. Our apiaries are managed with long term bee and land health in mind, never using synthetic treatments or artificial feeding. We harvest only what the bees can spare, ensuring their colonies stay strong, balanced, and resilient. We don’t keep bees, we help them go wild.
Over the past five years, we have never taken shortcuts. I’ve kept my bees 100% naturally, used zero plastic throughout the entire business, sourced only the best local certified organic ingredients, and made all of our products as affordable as possible.
It’s been a long road, and we have never looked back.
Business is a lot like beekeeping. If you try to take shortcuts or go the easy route just to save time or increase profits, the whole thing eventually loses its meaning and collapses.
When I started this business, my goal was to impact my customers, honeybees and the environment in a positive and healthy way while creating 100% natural, recyclable products that are truly one of a kind. Simple but unique and powerful ingredients that look good, taste good and feel good.
For many years to come, we will only put out the highest quality products from the Big Island, no matter how much or how hard the work is.
We genuinely enjoy every second of this process.
